I'm Dahee Kim, a developer.
I once spent 24 days overlanding across four African countries, pitching camp and living out of a tent every day with friends from all over the world.
One of them was a developer who'd studied computer science, and she told me about working and traveling at the same time, from anywhere. That was the first time I thought, "a life like that is actually possible," and that experience became an important reason I want to work this way today.

- I recharge through swimming, dancing, and traveling.

I'd rather be a developer who asks good questions than one who just writes good code.
So I spend as much time paying attention to people, experiences, and the way ideas move as I do to technology.
In the middle of a safari, with cheetahs and wild elephants wandering right past the campsite, I did my own laundry and pitched my own tent every night which was colder than I'd expected. Overcoming one unfamiliar thing at a time out there is the same instinct I bring to unfamiliar problems here: choosing courage over fear, learning, and trying again.
My goal is to become a developer who can learn, build, and work from anywhere with just a laptop. I'm still on that journey.
I hope what I leave here ends up being a small hint for someone. ✨
